Sonoma specific Fix
For MacOS Sonoma users, there is a fix until a new version is released: Fix for Sonoma .
For Adobe Acrobat signature

For accessing websites requiring certificate authentication
If you are trying to access a website that requires you have a token certificate, and you are using Chrome browser on MacOS Monterey / Sonoma, with a SafeNet USB Token, you might receive this error. It seems that Chrome does not query for the certificate. Some people found success on MacOS Sonoma by disconnecting and reconnecting the USB token, while on the specific web page. This did not work for me on Monterey with Chrome Version 121.0.6167.160 (Official Build) (x86_64).
However, I’ve found a solution using Mozilla Firefox:
- Download and Open Firefox, I had success with version 122.0.1 (64-bit)
- Go to Tools -> Privacy & Security -> Certificates -> Security Devices. (or burger menu > Settings > search: “Security” or “certificate” > click on Security Devices)
- Click on Load, then in Module path enter: /usr/local/lib/libeTPkcs11.dylib
- Click Log in, enter the password you set for your token
- Access the website which you had trouble accessing with Chrome
This seems cannot be done the same on Chrome, as Chrome does not provide a mechanism to specify a PKCS#11 provider in settings.
